About GET LIFTED MUSIC

Our Story

We started GET LIFTED MUSIC in 2023 as friends who loved playing music together. Since then, we've grown into a full-fledged band and love the opportunity to perform for like-minded audiences who share an appreciation for Reggae.

Our Music

Our music is a blend of Reggae, Funk, R&B and Hip Hop. We all come from diverse and eclectic musical backgrounds, united by our love of collaboration with other musicians and of performing live.

Our Performances

We love performing live and putting on a great show for our fans. We bring energy and passion to every performance and strive to create an unforgettable experience for everyone in the audience.

Band member bios

Scott Elder

Sean Curkendall

Scott is a founding member of Get Lifted as well as our guitar player. His playing culls influence from multiple genres, including Blues, Classic Rock, and Country. It's a musical philosophy of his to find parts that help drive the music or create depth through atmospheric effects.

When he is not playing with Get Lifted, you can check him out in the original rock band SONS OF THE FORCE. He is a pivotal contributor to their song writing process. He also enjoys collecting and listening to vinyl records.

Sean Curkendall

Sean is an a founding member of Get Lifted. Sean has been playing piano for over 30 years. He has a wide array of genres that he plays well and is familiar with.

He has played for such greats as Billy Shew, Randy Oxford, Rafiel Tranchlimino, Michael Powers, Vicci Martinez, Jumpin' Josh and more.

He has also worked with such producers as Ruben Augosto, and many more. His music is his passion and Sean is very diligent to ensure that all of his goals and ambitions will be realized through his music.

I create music to help other people. I love what I do and enjoy making people happy using music. I believe LOVE IS FREE and that it costs nothing to be a decent human being.

Jeff Coffey

Jordan Wazmund

Jeff is the founder of Get Lifted as well as its Bass player. Jeff is a retired firefighter after 37 years of service. He picked up the bass just 6 years ago after decades of procrastinating and a lifetime of loving various genres of music.

Jeff has always been drawn to music, in particular rhythm & percussion. After discovering that he had no business behind a drum kit, he happily decided on playing bass.

Reggae, Funk, R&B and Hip Hop have been his primary musical influences. Groups such as Sublime, 311, Josh Heinrichs, Tribal Seeds, Fiji, J Boog and Fortunate Youth are among his favorite bands.

Jeff is content to lay back and lock in with the kick drum and snare, supporting the outstanding musicians he has surrounded himself with. He continues to learn and hone his craft. Performing live is both a passion as well as medicine.

Jordan Wazmund

Jordan began his music career at a young age; playing in the NW Reggae scene and in bands such as Pungent Sound, Big Blue Van, Swayze Train, and Perfect by Tomorrow; throughout Oregon, Washington and California.

He is also a free-lance live/studio musician. He is versatile in many genres of music and a variety of instruments. He has spent much of his time with sound engineering, Stage Production / Management, recording live and studio sound.

He is not afraid to take on seemingly overwhelming tasks and is always excited to embark on a new musical experience with each artist he records and/or runs sound for.
